 I am the owner of a small hardware tool export factory in Yiwu, Zhejiang. Last month, I just received a USD 120,000 order from Germany. I handled export procedures by myself before, but the goods were detained at the port due to errors in commodity inspection documents. I lost more than RMB 80,000 only on demurrage and document amendment fees. Now I am too scared to handle the procedures by myself and intend to find a professional foreign trade export agent.
